My search for a tractor continues. I found a 1995 L3750 with a loader and Backhoe,4wd,standard shift with reverser and 4000hrs on it for $13000.00 the dealer says he'll throw in up to a years worth of warranty on it also. Is this a good deal? How many hours is a tractor like this good for with proper maintenance? Thanks in advance,
Darrell

I don't know if I'd worry to much about a Kubota tractor at 4000 hours if you don't. I would look at the hoe for loose pins as well as the loader. Are there service records of any kind available. It sounds like the dealer knows the tractor and history so find out a little more. For his warrantee is it just a chassis warrantee or is it a complete coverage with no deductable. Often times it's the little things that get you not the overall unit that will need attention. You might need to replace some switches from time to time or gauges, maybe the clutch. Like auto's the bulk are built for 10 years or 100,000 miles before you have major problems. ....

Thanks for the info. That eases me some. If you could put it into automobile terms how many hours on a tractor would be equal to 100,000 miles on a car?
And does this sound like a fair price? Thanks again,
Darrell ....

Dave the tractor lines we work with are built around 10,000 hour life. which in car terms of 55 miles per hour would be 550,000 miles ....
